African ICT Achievers Awards adjudication draws top judges

As we celebrate the 10th Anniversary for the African ICT Achievers Awards Programme, we are also proud to announce that top judges have been secured for the adjudication process. Chairpersons, CEOs and executive management of organizations big and small will this year take on the challenge of judging nominees to determine the winners.

We also proudly announce that 2008 will herald the first of our Regional awards with winners in the SADC, East & Central Africa and West & North Africa regions. These winners will then form the finalists to the continental awards to be announced in November this year at the Annual Banquet.

Jane Mosebi, ForgeAhead MD says: “We are humbled to see the commitment and passion that the ICT industry across Africa has portrayed in taking the time out of their busy schedules to nominate those individuals and organisations, whether competitor or collaborator, and recognise them through the African ICT Achievers Awards, for their outstanding performance.

“Each year brings a heightened commitment and quality of adjudicators and this year’s programme will deliver an even more rigorous and meticulous adjudication process,” she adds.

As usual judges have also been secured as on-line adjudicators in their region for the regional awards. Once scoring has taken place, our auditors will provide ForgeAhead with the winners in each region. These regional winners will automatically be finalists for the continental awards which will be judged by means of face to face and video conferencing.

Continental winners will be chosen from these formidable regional winners and be announced in November.
